Overview
The redesigned Willow Building Homepage offers a comprehensive, all-in-one view of building operations and performance within the Willow App. It features a user-friendly interface that consolidates essential building information, customizable KPIs, and the latest updates on insights and tickets. The home page also features the building's 3D model visually, highlighting areas of the building that need attention, making it easier to identify and prioritize effective action.
Built with flexibility in mind, the homepage allows users to customize their homepage by adding or removing widgets and rearranging the layout. This ensures that users can focus on what's most important to them first. Select widgets can also be customized further, allowing a user to allow their home page to focus on their most important metrics.
The new home page is also fully mobile-responsive, allowing access across all devices for continuous monitoring and management of the building anytime and from anywhere.
The Widgets
The first release of the New Building Home page features five widgets. Additional widgets will be added to the home page in the future.
Location Summary
The Location Summary provides a summary of key building-level information, including the overall building performance score. This score reflects the operational performance of your building during the selected time period based on the average available building energy and comfort scores.
This widget displays a five-day weather forecast and important building details such as status, location, size, and local time. This helps users maintain their context as they navigate through the product, providing high-level information about the building when they switch their location scope and land on the home page.
When editing this widget, users have the option to show or hide the Overall Building Performance score.
KPI Summary
The KPI Summary widget provides an overview of key performance indicators for a location, with options to display trend indicators and sparklines showing performance over time.
The initial KPIs that can be displayed in the KPI summary are Building Comfort and Building Energy. The Comfort Score shows the percentage of times the return air temperature falls between set points over the selected time period. The Energy Score compares the building's energy consumption during the selected period to the energy consumption from one week prior and indicates how similar they are. A low Energy Score may be symptomatic of drastic changes in operational conditions or an issue with equipment.
Users can easily click to view the Building KPI dashboard and explore more building metrics and other building dashboards from Willows.
When editing this widget, users can select which KPIs to view. Additional standard building KPIs will be added in the future, allowing users to select additional scores.
Insights
The Insights widget provides an overview of active insights within the building, enabling quick identification of items that may require investigation or action.
Impact Scores shows the measurable impact of active insights in the building. Daily Insight Occurrences show how often an Insight has been activated daily, helping spot peaks in activity and broader trends. Users can quickly click through from this widget to see relevant items on the Insights page.
When editing this widget, users can select which impact scores to display.
Tickets
The Tickets widget provides an overview of the building's active work orders and maintenance tickets. It allows for quick assessment of the volume and types of outstanding work.
Daily New Tickets offers an overview of the tickets created daily across the user's selected time range. This allows for quick identification of any spikes or dips in the ongoing maintenance or similar tasks within a building. Users can quickly click through from this widget to view relevant items on the Tickets page.
3D Model
The 3D Model widget provides a quick overview of a location's operational status. Floors are color-coded by the highest priority active insight for easy identification of areas needing attention.
Clicking on a floor of the 3D model will navigate the user to that floor in the 3D viewer, allowing for further spatial investigation with the active insights view.
