Notification Types
- Personal Notifications: Available to all users, these notifications are for your personal use only.
- Workgroup Notifications: Available to users with admin permissions, these notifications can be sent to various workgroups. This is useful for alerting entire teams about important updates consistently.
If you have admin permissions, you will see both options (Personal and Workgroup). If you do not have admin permissions, you will only see the Personal option.
Setting Up Workgroup Notifications
When selecting the Workgroup option, Admin users can set up notifications for specific workgroups. For example, you can configure a notification to alert the Engineers I workgroup about HVAC Equipment insights with low, medium, high, or critical priority at the Canary Wharf campus.
Additional Options
- Notifications can also be set up for specific skills, twins, and twin categories.
- At the top, Admin users can choose whether the workgroup can turn off this notification. In this example, the Engineers I workgroup is allowed to disable the notification.
Once saved, the notification will appear in your notification settings table, where you can manage it for yourself and the applicable workgroups.
Setting Up Personal Notifications
When selecting the Personal option, users can set up notifications for themselves. For example, you can configure a notification to alert you when an insight of the Energy category occurs at 104 Bedford Square.
Additional Options
- Notifications can also be set up for specific skills, twins, and twin categories.
Once saved, the notification will appear in your notification settings table, where you can edit it as needed.
