What's New: September 2025

The Developer Portal has been updated with the latest round of changes in Public API v3: https://developers.willowinc.com/openapi/willowtwin/v3-test/

  1. NEW Events endpoint
  2. NEW Tickets endpoint (including ticket metadata)
  3. NEW Retrieve Twin Graph method to retrieve a subgraph
  4. NEW List Twins filter to filter by twin properties

Insight KPIs

The logic of Willow's insight KPIs has been updated to better serve users in understanding and identifying what needs actioning and what has been successfully or unsuccessfully actioned.

The new logic is as follows:

  • Needs Action: Insights that have been active within the last 30 days that do not have an open or closed ticket.
  • In Progress: Insights with open tickets.
  • Successfully Actioned: Insights that have not been active since 24 hrs* past the ticket closed date.
  • Unsuccessfully Actioned: Insights that have been active since 24 hrs* past the ticket closed date.

*The 24 hr period is used to verify that, after a fix has been completed, the insight updates to inative and thus is successfully actioned or the insight remains active and thus the fix didn't work and is unsuccessfully actioned.

You'll see these definitions when hovering over the (i) icon in the UI.

Copilot

Copilot Actions - update and close Tickets

Use Copilot to change Ticket Status as well as update Cause and Solution fields. Copilot tries to obey the same rules as the UI regarding valid State names and transitions. For instance, you must add Cause and Solution to close a Ticket, and a closed ticket can't be reopened.

Copilot supports Last Known Value of telemetry points

You can now ask Copilot for the last known value (LKV) of capabilities on any asset.
Find an asset twin of interest and ask for LKVs.
