Custom Briefings

Overview

Willow now allows users to upload their own briefings to share with their colleagues and reference as an artifact in the future. A Custom Briefing is generated outside of Willow App such as with your own AI Assistant using Willow MCP and other tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, or Copilot whereas Standard Briefings are configured and generated all within Willow App.

Creating a custom briefing

Navigate to the Briefings > Custom tab and select the Create Custom Briefing button.

Next, give your briefing a Name and optional Description. The Location helps provide context as to which building, campus, region, etc. this is for. It will be pre-filled with your current scope selection in the Willow App. Finally, select your PDF or HTML file and select Save.

 

Viewing a custom briefing

Once you have uploaded a custom briefing, anyone with permissions for the location to which you've uploaded it will be able to find it in the list and select it to view.
