Navigating the Dashboard
The Dashboard is the main home screen for the Command application area of the WillowTwin™ platform, and depending on the permissions enabled by your administrator, could be your users' home screen as well.
The Dashboard is the summary of a building and launching point for navigating to other areas of Command. From here, users can navigate to individual floors to view 2D and 3D floor plans, and turn different layers of architectural and mechanical images on/off. There is also quick access to both insights and tickets from the dashboard as well.
Navigating to individual floors within for viewing data can be done in one of two ways:
- Selecting a floor from the floor selector drop-down in the menu bar
- Clicking on a floor from the 3D building model
The floor view will open as either a 2D or 3D representation of the floor. 2D will be the default view the first time a user accesses the floor view, whereas the platform will remember and open the floor view with the last viewed selection.
To go back to the Dashboard, click the back arrow near the top left.
Insights are collections of information, faults and alarms that are reported from integrations with your WillowTwin™. Depending on the configuration these could be actual issues that require follow-up actions, where tickets maybe created, or they could be potential issues, that need further investigation.
Insights are color-coded by priority and can be filtered by priority, type or date. Clicking one of these insights will open a window with more detailed insight information.
Tickets are details on the work that may be required to investigate or resolve issues that have been identified by the insights. Like the insights, when a ticket is clicked, a window will open displaying the details of the ticket. This information includes who’s assigned to complete the work, where the work needs to take place, notes and other information.
