The ability to search assets from the field provides users with powerfully useful information that can assist in the analysis of asset operations, troubleshooting of issues, timely repairs, and more.
To search assets:
- Tap the menu button
in the top left
- Tap Asset Lookup
- In the Search field, enter a full or partial asset name or description
- If needed, tap the Filter button to enable filters to narrow the list of returned assets, filter options include:
- Network
- Area
- Category
- Subcategory
- Chainage From and Chainage To
- If needed, tap the Filter button to enable filters to narrow the list of returned assets, filter options include:
- Assets matching the search and filter selections will be displayed below
Tapping on an asset will then display more detailed information for the asset, this information will vary depending on the asset selected and the information uploaded to your WillowTwin™ platform.
Asset Details
Tabs will appear at the top of the screen which make viewing a wide range of asset data easier to review, users can drag their finger left/right to see additional tabs, then tap on a tab to review the associated information, this may include:
- Details
- Information on the location of the asset
- Properties
- Additional properties for the selected asset
- Maintenance
- Displays any previous work orders associated with the asset
- Notifications
- Lists any associated notifications with the selected asset
- Defects
- Will show any defect data associated with the asset
- TSRs
- Displays information on any temporary speed restrictions for for the selected asset
- POSS Graph*
- Displays live POSS readings associated with the selected asset
- NOTE: POSS is only available with switch assets that have a POSS system installed
- Displays live POSS readings associated with the selected asset
- Track Geometry Graphs
- Allows users to view track geometry graphs for select assets
Track Geometry Graphs
When viewing the Track Geometry graphs in the mobile app, users will have the ability to select from a number of different readings by tapping the reading selection drop-down field (this may default to Gauge), graph options include:
- Gauge
- Superelevation
- E Line Ch1
- W Line Ch1
- E Top Ch3
- W Top Ch3
- Twist A
- Twist B
- Cross Level
- E Line Ch2
- W Lin Ch2
- E Top Ch4
- W Top Ch4
Depending on the graph and data being displayed, users may need to zoom in to see more/less detail, this can be done by pinching the screen. As well, users can drag their finger on the graph to scroll up/down.
The bars in the graphs can appear as different colors depending on any threshold exceedances, a legend will appear in the top right corner to help users with this analysis.
